Green Tea (Camelia sinensis): Green Tea is energising, alkalising and high in antioxidants, so used in anti-cancer treatment and as a cancer preventative. It is beneficial for weight loss and is a neuro-protective and anti-inflammatory agent.
Withania (Withania somnifera): Withania is used to support adrenal function, stress reduction and promoting learning and memory. It is also known to improve stamina in athletes.
Lemon Grass (Cymbopogon citratus): Lemongrass is envigorating and calming at the same time. The leaves of the plant are used as stimulant, sudorific, antiperiodic, and anticatarrhal, while the essential oil is used as carminative, depressant, analgesic, antipyretic, antibacterial, and antifungal agent. Studies have found Lemongrass to be cytoprotective, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties in vitro, as well as antifungal properties
Damiana (Turnera diffusa): Damiana has a reputation as being a tonic for the nervous system, particularly of benefit when people are tired or depressed. It is widely drunk as a tea in Latin America and Mexico with early documented use by the Mayan people where it is seen as a pleasant, stimulating beverage without the side effects of tea or coffee. It is used to increase stamina and is mood regulating.
Sage (Salvia officinalis): Sage is used for temperature regulation, is an adaptogen, supports the adrenals and is a brain tonic used to enhance memory function, combat headaches, anxiety, depression and confusion.
Guarana (Paullinia cupana): Guarana is energising and envigorating through it’s content of caffeine, theophylline and theobromine (constituents similar to caffeine). Guarana is taken for athletic performance, mental function, to increase energy, and as an aphrodisiac. It stimulates the nervous system and has been used for the treatment of neuralgia and migraines due to its analgesic (pain-relieving) properties. It is a nervine tonic, toning and calming the nerves.
