Granola seems to mean different things in different countries. We use ‘granola’ to mean a richer mix than our breakfast mueslis, good as a snack (or scroggin to use a Kiwi term), or as a topping. It makes a full-on breakfast when eaten on its own.
Gluten Free Buckwheat Granola
Our gluten free buckwheat granola is a power packed food – great for athletes and other active people as well as people who need to avoid gluten. The granolas have more protein and fat than our mueslis and porridges. This granola has almonds, cashews, coconut along with organic NZ blackcurrants, diced sulphite-free NZ apple slices, and Canadian cranberries, plus buckwheat, sunflower seeds and pumkin seeds. Note that buckwheat is not a grain or a cereal, it is a seed of the same family of plants that rhubarb belongs to.
